About Kristy

I became a family physician because I enjoy caring for patients from birth, throughout childhood and teen years, into adulthood and the geriatric years. It is an honor to help individuals and families navigate the various acute and chronic needs of medical, social, reproductive, and mental health in each life stage. My training in cultural anthropology, public health, and leadership enable me to effectively work with patients to set health care goals, follow up with them consistently over time, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure they meet their goals. I enjoy learning about patient experiences, staying up to date on the latest medical research, and improving efficiencies to ensure the highest quality of care to our community. I hope to promote wellness, justice, and learning in the community through efficiency, compassion, and hard work. I aim to lead by example in wellness and integration of my life as a physician, community member, mother, and individual. I enjoy yoga, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, and any new outdoor adventures; watching my two sons play soccer; traveling to experience new cultures; reading, and playing board games.
