About Lauren

As I continue my path as a social worker, I am currently working on becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to expand my ability to purse my passion of assisting others with compassion, empathy and a broad base of knowledge and life experience. Building a bond of trust with my clients is one of my foremost goals. I use Motivational Interviewing, focus on Client Centered Strengths and Solution Based Care. I am also trained in Prevention and Crisis Intervention, Trauma-Informed Care, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, and Military Ethos/Culture. I possess a comprehensive knowledge in assisting veterans and their families with their needs. I love learning new things, and I enjoy music, nature, animals, and crafting, especially macrame. I am a bit of a rockhound, and love working with and incorporating nature into my art.
