About Tammy

My name is Tammy Cagle. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to improving quality of life for our community member. I graduated from University of Connecticut with a Maters in Social work that focused on Policy, and Programing. My previous experience before joining the Artesia Family Clinic has been providing mental health services in rural clinical settings that include Alaska and New Mexico. I have a background in program development in the criminal justice system with a focus on best practices and trauma informed care. Most recently, I provided therapeutic services on Hospital Behavioral Health Unit in Farmington NM. While residing in Farmington, I instructed at the Facundo Valdez School of Social Work program at Highlands University. I value dignity and worth of the person and to improve quality of life. I enjoy hiking, traveling, knitting, painting and spending time with my fur babies.
