About Ginger
I am currently a Clinical Services Supervisor for adult outpatient therapy. I work with both clients and supervisees with a strength-based approach. Historically I have based my clinical work on client-centered care, with an eclectic perspective, taking interventions from various modalities that best support an individual and/or family’s growth. When possible, I believe involving the entire family in treatment is highly beneficial.
I grew up in Santa Fe and received my bachelor’s degree in both journalism/mass communications and psychology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 2002; In 2011, I earned my master’s degree in social work from California State University, Chico. I was a clinician at a group home for high-risk adolescents in Redding, California before moving back to New Mexico, which is when I started working for Presbyterian Medical Services in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) program in 2015. Additionally, I have experience working in the hospital setting doing crisis assessments in the emergency room and I do find value in supporting people in crisis. In October 2023 I accepted a position as a supervisor for PMS.
