About Kia'
Before providing health care services, Kia worked as a paralegal and operated an import business for many years based in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado.
Asked why she decided to become a nurse practitioner, Kia replied, “I have had a long-standing involvement in human rights promotion. I believe that access to health care is one of the most effective means to achieving human rights goals. I decided to join the team at Presbyterian Medical Services because its mission aligns with my own values including increased access to health care.”
Kia is excited to be living in the Questa/Taos area where she can experience a multi-cultural environment while providing needed health education and preventive care for an underserved community. “It’s also a beautiful area for enjoying my outdoor interests of hiking, trekking and skiing!”
