I am a late-in-life psychotherapist who returned to school at the age of 50 to finish an undergrad and master's and 3 year Freudian Psychotherapy program in New York City before my husband, Dave, retired from The Associated Press and we moved to Ruidoso, NM where our families have escaped the heat of Texas since the 1950's. We built a new cabin that looks out to the iconic Sierra Blanca mountaintop on old family land and are grandparents raising a granddaughter, Lizzy. I work fulltime at PMS Behavioral Health while Dave is a community volunteer.
