Tawnia Manuelito, LCSW

Tawnia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with our Telehealth team. She is from the Pueblo of Acoma and Navajo reservations. Tawnia has spent most of her career in rural communities throughout NM and enjoyed every minute of it. She has been in the Social Work field since 2007 with a diverse professional background. Most recently she worked in a correctional facility working with individuals experiencing serious mental illnesses. She was a previous employee of PMS in 2019 providing mental health services to individuals, families, couples, and groups in Grants and the School Based Health Center at Laguna Acoma High School. Some of Tawnia’s skills and training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Approach, Sand Tray and Crisis Prevention Intervention. She enjoys spending time with family outdoors, camping, traveling, volunteering, reading and running to keep herself physically and mentally healthy. She is happy to return to PMS and be a part of a talented team.
